What is Flexible Scheduler?
As a Meals On Wheels volunteer I needed to create a reminder to deliver meals every 2nd, 4th, and last Monday of each month. I tried adding an event in my iPhone Calendar app but Calendar only gave me weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly repeat options. Thus the idea was born to create an app that would let me create events with non-standard repeat patterns and then publish those events into my iPhone Calendar app, which would subsequently sync with my Google calendar.

Flexible Scheduler can also be used to create standard (non-repeat) events much more quickly than doing so in Calendar directly. With Flexible Scheduler it takes only three taps, one to enter a description, one to set the appointment date and time (if needed), and one to publish the event to Calendar. Compare that to Calendar's 8 taps to accomplish the same thig! Use Flexible Scheduler as a quick TODO list, adding new events to Calendar with minimal effort.

Frequently Asked Questions
Don't see your question answered below? Shoot us an email and we'll add it!
Q. Why don't published appointments appear in Google calendar?
Flexible scheduler publishes appointments to the calendar program that comes with the iPhone. If you have configured your phone to synchronize you calendars then any appointment added to the calendar program will be synchronized with your calendar, whether Google, Exchange, etc.
Q. Why are certain months preselected under the monthly same day and date option? Why can't I deselect those?
The time, date, and month values you select on the first page are used as the basis for the repeat values you can choose. For example, if the appointment was set to Jan 1st, 2011, then January will be preselected and cannot be unselected. If you don't want the appointment to occur in January then just set a different appointment initial date on the main (first) page.
Q. When I try to email an appointment is says there aren't any. How do I share appointments?
Flexible Scheduler only knows about the current and just published appointment. If you haven't yet created an appointment then there won't be any appointment to publish. You can still email an appointment after it's been published, but as soon as you start creating a new appointment you won't be able to publish the old previous one.
